Language courses

Our language courses are designed for groups of foreign students and teachers and any others interested in expanding and improving their knowledge of the German language. These courses also provide comprehensive information about the economy, culture, and contemporary history of Germany, especially the federal state of Thuringia.

The language instruction uses a conversational approach and is taught by experienced teachers of German as a Second Language who make every effort to address the individual needs of the participants. The instructors pay special attention to the development of effective speaking and listening skills. The faculty complement the language instruction with media, lectures, seminars, and special projects in German. We will design the course length according to your needs. All participants receive a course certificate. Excursions are an integral component and include visits to culturally important cities in Thuringia such as Weimar, Erfurt, Eisenach and Gotha. Travel and entrance fees are included in the course fee.
